Transient Lab, an audio-software developer serving music creators and production teams, has announced MixLab, a browser-based platform for sharing recordings, comparing alternate versions and reviewing work. Producers, engineers and clients can listen to multitrack projects, leave comments at specific points in a recording and follow revisions within the same workspace. The platform brings together tasks that often spread across email, messaging apps and file-sharing services, helping collaborators keep track of which version they are discussing.

MixLab also offers AI feedback from agents with perspectives including audio engineering, songwriting and A&R. Users can ask questions about a recording and continue the discussion alongside their project’s audio and comments. Transient Lab plans further connections with music-production software and AI services. Its approach puts AI into the review process, where creators assess arrangements, mixes and revisions before approving a finished recording.
