Moises and SoundCloud Link AI Music Production With Direct Publishing

The partnership connects Moises’ AI production tools with SoundCloud publishing, collaboration and monetization, subject to platform eligibility requirements.

Moises and SoundCloud have announced an integration connecting music production with publishing. Moises provides AI tools that separate recordings into vocal and instrumental tracks, identify chords and lyrics, and assist with mixing and mastering. Musicians can use these features to rehearse vocals or instrument performances, develop arrangements and collaborate. The integration lets artists import their own tracks into Moises and publish finished work back to SoundCloud, subject to eligibility requirements the announcement does not detail. Moises’ assistant, Moi, also supports session setup and production tasks.

The partnership brings those tools closer to SoundCloud’s audience and monetization services. The method for revenue allocation and earning requirements has not yet been disclosed publicly. Moises says its models use licensed and authorized music rather than users’ uploads or creations. SoundCloud says generative AI training requires artists’ explicit consent. These are company commitments, not an independent audit of training practices.
