Apple announced on October 27 that Logic Pro for Mac will gain an AI assistant in beta as part of its November Apple Creator Studio update. Powered by Apple-built and third-party models, the assistant will help users navigate production tasks, start songs and set up vocal tracks through prompts. Its beta requires an Apple Intelligence-capable Mac running macOS 27 Golden Gate or later and supports U.S. English.
The update also expands Stem Splitter’s ability to isolate and rebalance drum parts and introduces a redesigned sound browser with on-device audio analysis. These additions bring more AI assistance into an established production environment, combining workflow automation with tools for manipulating recorded material.
